Born : 2006
By Heatley Avalon (Atlantus) out of Rybalia (Calvados)

HEATLEY AVALON (now deceased) was a very striking horse with incredible presence. He was a compact horse with superb paces and conformation. He had a fabulous front and length of rein, fantastic natural ability over a fence with an incredible will to win. He produced quality athletic stock inheriting his excellent temperament and have all the makings of tough, sound, quality competition horses. He consistently produced his own stamp over and over again.
The next year they were Reserve Champion of the Netherlands and won the Grand Prix of Tjele in Denmark, 3rd Grand Prix of Drammen, 5th Grand Prix of Falsterbro, 2nd Grand Prix of Spangenberg, 4th Grand Prix of Geesteren and winner of the Stallion Competition at 's-Hertogenbosch. Although CALVADOS has bred on a very limited scale, he has many international offspring jumping at Grand Prix level, e.g. Macanudo¹s Deniro (Peter Wylde), Royal Future, Royal Love (Susanne Behring), Harmonie (Leon Thijssen), Iwan II (Mark Armstrong), Illussion (Tani Tops) and Silber Bird (Markus Beerbaum). He is one of the few stallions who has earned his predicate. He has this to thank from his above mentioned, worldfamous children, who won grand prix and world cups. He produced the reserve champion of the IAN-trophy and a lot of offspring scored high marks in their mare tests, IBOP¹s and foal auctions. The jumping index of CALVADOS is extremely high with 152 points. Calvados produced the highest percentage star mares in 2003.
