BALOU DU ROUET, Oldenburg silver medalist of 2005, is one of the best German horses of his age group. Equipped with maximum elasticity in his gaits, he completed an excellent Stallion Performance Test awarded with the top marks of 9.5 and 10.0 for jumping by the ‘foreign’ judges. He has continued his sporting career in supreme style, winning several classes judged on style and ability up to “M level”. He won the final qualification at the German Young Horse Championships with the top score of 9.2 and in the final was one of the four best approved stallions in Germany. Balou du Rouet is directly related to the founder of the bloodline “COR DE LA BRYERE” from Holstein through Rantzau. The similarity can be seen in BALOU DU ROUET jumping style and ability. His stunning dam Georgia is by the increasingly popular Contender son, Continue. Once again, BALOU DU ROUET emphasises his dominant quality as a producer in type, elegance and movement with numerous foals at many different auctions. His sire BALOUBET DU ROUET, is at the moment one of the most successful jumping stallions on the international stage (individual silver medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, three-times World Cup Champion in a row, winner of many Grand Prix’s), he has an exceptional pedigree, grand sire Galoubet is son of the great stallion Almé.
The legendary stallion SANDRO Z, there is no denying the valuable influence this stallion has had on the development of modern sports horses worldwide. As a broodmare sire SANDRO has also been exceptionally successful: Lasango (Kurt Reinacher), San Serai Funky Town (Björn Nagel), Lausano (René Tebbel), Risandro (Samantha McIntosh), Filias (Arnoldo Bologni), High Class (Royne Zettermann), Cappucino and Santa Fe (Marco Kutscher), Grand Soso (Markus Fuchs), Grand Soso II (Ulrik Kjaer) and High Stepper (Maria Gretzer) – all Grand Prix showjumpers, all out of daughters of SANDRO. He is unique in that he is the only stallion son of the cross of Sacramento Song and Wahnfried – a cross that has also been very successful in producing dams of stallions. The stallions Lavell I and II, Atlantas Z and Campione, as well as international jumping horses, Cathleen (Meredith Beerbaum – then Michaels) and Zigeunerin (Rodrigo Pessoa) all came from that cross. SANDRO'S dam, Dürte is the full sister of one of the most successful Puissance horses ever – Wabbs. Durte is also the dam of Harvey Smith’s Salvador.
With SANDRO on her dams side and BALOU DU ROUET as her sire, what more could you ask for, this filly is a full sister to BLISS DU ROUET. This lovely filly has already shown that she is a champion in the making, at the 2008 B.E.F. Futurity Evaluations, she received a 1st Premium in the show jumping section which made her Reverve Champion Filly Foal. She has the bloodlines, conformation and temperament to make a superb future international show jumper, one to watch. Her mother SANDRINA was 2008 B.E.F. Futurity Champion broodmare and has produced some stunning foals.
